We currently have exciting career opportunities available for Actuarial Analysts / Senior Actuarial Analysts to join our successful Australia and Asia Pacific teams. You will assist an applicable Business Unit in obtaining and managing profitable business by supporting the work of the senior actuaries, including reserving, pricing, capital modelling and business monitoring.
If you would like to apply for the Senior Actuarial Analyst role, then you will have knowledge of how to use data analysis techniques and have an intermediate skills in Excel and SAS. You will also need to have completed all Part 1 & 2 Institute of Actuaries of Australia exams (or equivalent) with experience in a similar role in a General Insurance environment.
For the Actuarial Analyst role, intermediate skills in Excel and elementary skill in SAS is required. The ability to work autonomously, solve problems with minimal supervision, make decisions and having the skill to identify opportunities to improve processes will be essential. Completion of most of Part 1 & 2 Institute of Actuaries of Australia exams (or equivalent) is an advantage and experience in a similar role in a General Insurance environment is desirable.
To be successful in either position, you will be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail, be results driven and have the ability to work to tight deadlines. A flexible attitude and self motivation are a must.
